Custom painting for NYC client. 30×44″
In exploring the article written in Woman’s Wear Daily I was very inspired by Lynne Greene’s words, “Cherish the past but invent the future.” Her words told me that the past does not define who we are. It should guide, teach and serve as a foundation for our growth and renewal. Her willingness to move forward despite the challenges life posed and the courage it took to stick to her convictions and stand true to her philosophy of white space for Clinique was an inspiration to me. The paintings I created for Lynne Greene was inspired by her story and passion for love, laughter, and new beginnings. There are hidden messages inside each piece and each painting utilizes a bit of string to create the hidden words as well as Clinique make-up inside the composition.
